WOZUBERLIN · PULSEBOX

A small box.
A loud room.

Self-hosted or ready-to-run. Deploy PulseBox on compatible hardware you already manage, or order a pre-configured unit built for venues, installations, and touring environments. Same interface, same scene memory, same Pulse system — whether it runs in a club booth, a gallery wall, or a permanent installation.

Early hardware access opens soon.

What do you want to create?

Pick a space. PulseBox sets up the right visuals, lighting and controls — then you're running.

CAPABILITIES

Everything one venue needs, in one box.

MIDI controllers

Play your show by hand — Push, APC, nanoKONTROL and Launchpad map to anything.

Smart lights

Your lights breathe with the music — LIFX, WLED, Hue and DMX, all at once.

Projection mapping

Turn any wall, object or stage into a screen.

Cameras & motion

Visuals that react to people moving in the room.

Audio reactive

Plug in sound — the visuals follow the beat automatically.

Local storage

Scenes, media and recordings live on the box — yours, and offline.

Works offline

No internet? The show keeps running. Always.

Cloud sync

Link your account to back up your setup and restore it anywhere.

AI scenessoon

Describe a mood and get a starting scene you can tweak. (in progress)

Multi-room syncsoon

WHY PULSEBOX

Easier than combining ten tools.

One box, not ten apps

Visuals, lighting, projection, MIDI, audio and recording in a single runtime — instead of stitching together a VJ app, a lighting desk, a media server and three adapters.

It just runs

Open it on any phone on the same Wi-Fi. No install, no driver, no login required to start. Pick what you want to create and go.

Yours, and offline-first

Everything lives on the box. The internet can drop mid-show and nothing stops. Link your account only when you want a backup.

Set up devices

UNDER THE HOOD

How one small box runs a loud room.

01

Local-first runtime

The whole Pulse app runs on the local box. Open pulsebox.local from any phone on the venue Wi-Fi — no app install, no driver, nothing extra behind the booth.

02

Projection mapping

Corner-pin warping, mask clipping, multi-projector pinning, MIDI-driven scene fires. Works on the PulseBox HDMI output without any external mapping software.

03

Hardware I/O

USB DMX, Art-Net, sACN, ESP32 mesh, MIDI controllers, webcams, sensors. The PulseBox acts as the signal bridge so the browser doesn't have to.

04

Two network modes

Joins the venue Wi-Fi, or makes its own PulseBox-Stage show network for ESP32 nodes / operator phones / Art-Net devices. Auto-fallback to setup hotspot when neither works.

05

Cloud-managed media

Drop assets into your Cloud Library /Pulse folder; the box syncs them. Lose internet during the show — cached files keep playing. Your files, your Cloud Library, your control.

06

Two-tap blackout

Emergency blackout button on every page of the operator UI. Arms on first tap, fires on the second. The "oh no" button that every show needs and no AV vendor ships.

SETUP

Five minutes from box to wall.

  1. 1

    Plug in

HDMI to projector. Audio in (optional). USB power. The PulseBox boots in about 25 seconds.

  2. 2

    Join Wi-Fi

The PulseBox advertises PulseBox-Setup. Join from your phone, enter the venue's Wi-Fi credentials, the box switches to client mode.

  3. 3

    Open the operator UI

Browse to http://pulsebox.local. The cockpit, sequencer, projection editor, and media sources are right there. No app to install.

  4. 4

    Pair to your account (optional)

One QR scan or 6-character code links the box to your wozuberlin.pro account. Your Cloud Library /Pulse folder appears in the sources picker.

  5. 5

    Run the show

Pick a scene. Hit play. Or load an operator preset. Or jam from your MIDI controller. Or hand the operator UI to your VJ on their phone.
